I didn't expect that much from this boot. But I was very disappointed when it arrived to find that it was cheap plastic on the outside with a little bit of leather lining. The bottom was also pretty cheap looking foam. Not only will it likely fall apart quickly, but for my uses (working with fire) it's also dangerous. I returned them.

The boots might look nice in the dark, so they could be used to go clubbing occasionally.

FEMME-12 8" Pump, Black Patent-Size 7 Review

These are extreme heels are not so much made for walking in as posing in. Be aware that it takes exercise and preparation to stand and walk in these without hurting yourself. Due to the extreme posture they put your foot in these can put a great deal of pressure on your toes and calf muscles and tendons.

That being said, they look great and make for some great photos!

~Edit~ I recently became fascinated by "pony boots" bascially, boots that simulate Pony hooves, there is only one current manufacturer out there and their are half way round the world, expensive and very slow at communications, but then i thought about these boots.

I'm in the process of modifying them into a pair of pony boots myself, the fact that the heel/platform is made of a solid block of wood has made it very easy. My first step was to modify the heel of the shoe a little, I shaved off approiximately one ince of the block heel, put them on and lo-and-behold I can walk in them all day. After staring at them a while I realized that the problem I was having before was that these shoes are designed to put you beyond verticle so you have to have your knees bent and weight shifted behind you to stand in them, this puts all kinds of unnatural pressure on your knees. Anyhow, by take a little off the heels you can stand up vertically and actually walk in them pretty cleanly.

While I am sourcing the small hoseshoes I need to finish the modification I'll temporarily re-attach the heel pad and spend a little time practicing in them.

These shoes run kinda narrow but they're very pretty and heel is very high which I really liked. While the decorative leather on the back of heel is very stylish and makes these clogs stand out...in this light color I don't think its very practical as the back of girls heels tend to get dirty from driving and I don't think that light colored leather would clean up very well. These shoes are very stylish and pretty but I'm not sure how practical they are. I liked them but i did end up returning them after careful consideration. These shoes were kind of narrow for me but the leather seemed to be of very high quality and I'm sure would stretch out nicely making these a very comfy, attractive pair of shoes.

These shoes are amazing. They are very well made, and run between true to size to 1/2 size small. This may or not be because they are narrow. I wear an 8.5 unless its heels, which I always order 9US or its equivalent. These fit as expected in a 9US.
. They are very steady so you dont feel like you'll slip or fall just because theyre 4"+ heels. Extremely wearable, UNLESS you need to STAND for any extended period of time without doing much else.
They ARE a bit on the narrow side toward the front of the shoe, so if you have a wide foot dont even consider the purchase.
Also, sides and back are a suede-ish leather which is black but an off-black, as compared to the full grain looking type of leather in the front of the shoe.
All in all I gave it 4 stars because of them being narrow. Love this style to death otherwise.
