A trend I've seen with the Cascade series is that at your normal size, these shoes have a tight fit.

I own both a pair of Cascade boots (S 13) and Cascade shoes (S 12), and I normally wear a size 12. The shoes are a tight fit, but with the original Size 12 boots I had owned, getting them on was impossible. They were nearly impossible to feel comfortable in, and you had to come close to unlacing them to get your foot in.

I ended up shipping back the S 12 boots for the S 13 boots I have now, and do not regret a thing.

In terms of walking, the Cascade boots are comfortable, but not perfect. They look good, and can protect your feet form getting wet (though I don't advise going swimming with them) so for general campus walking, which I got them for, they have been everything I needed.

They are warm, indeed, but a good pair of boots from any company like Timberland, Bean, or Red Wing would probably be a better choice.

Just take this advice if you're looking into them: GET A SIZE LARGER.
