I bought this elsewhere--it is a beautiful shoe--made in Italy. The Italians really know how to make a shoe! Super quality, soft leather, great support! Unbelievable fit! True-to-size. Undeniably comfortable! This shoe is sharp looking on and is like walking on air. You feel rich and sophisticated just wearing them. I bought the dark brown--but it is a nice brown, more medium than dark, that borders on rust. I have seen the red ones on video on the net (a woman walking in them), and I fell in love. They appear to be a red that will go with brown slacks, jeans, whatever. The color on Amazon is not the true color--bad photo colorization. Check out the net to see them at their best. I have never been a shoe person and have just started acquiring heels as a wardrobe staple. I have purchased a few pairs, but can tell a big difference between craftsmanship and a regular decent pair of heels. I like all the heels that I have bought (and ended up keeping) but these are true craftsmanship! This shoe is a suede so if you buy them you need to spray them with a suede protector--which I bought on Amazon and works like a charm. They are not too high--even though they are more inches than most people wear, the platform takes up the difference. I have never purchased True Religion jeans, although I have heard good things about the brand, but I can say without qualification that I am a true believer in their shoes.
