I bought these in the Silver and the color is true to the picture here.

I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding and all our dresses were grecian looking so I wanted something that looked a bit like a sandal but was still glam.

These were perfect. The size was true to fit, with no horrible toe overhang to worry about. The width was right on (not too wide and not too narrow) and the heel was very wearable. It was high enough that I still got the look of a high heel but I wasnt towering over anyone (Im already 5'10") and it wasnt painful to be in all night. The base of heel itself is a good width so you are not wobbly at all.

These are evening shoes so arent going to give your feet the protection sneakers or whatever would but I was surprised how little my feet hurt when they finally came off. The sole is quite good. Great price too.

If your painting your toes, and you bought the silver or gold, Id recommend a really simple blush color, nude or very pale pink. Our bride made us all have hideous and so outdated French manis/pedis but if it were up to me, we would have just something clean and simple. You definetly dont want color on your toes when wearing these because the shoes by themselves say plenty. The little bit of sparkle in them provides just the right of glam without being gaudy. (If you bought the black, a blood red or maroon or a deep hot glossy pink might look really nice with them.)
