I am a full figured gal and am on my feet all day 7 days a week as we own our own retail store. Years of pounding have taken their toll on my feet, I have arthritis, a bunion and flat feet. I carry heavy objects, need to do a lot of walking and recently I've been hobbling around and finally decided to try men's shoes for the extra width - and boy howdy, am I glad I did! Now trying to find men's sz 6 is really difficult, but Chippewa came thru for me and these shoes are incredibly comfortable. Yes, there's a lot of room in the toes - but that's what's important - there is no discomfort at all when my toes bend and the support is fabulous - no need for my orthotics! They look decent enough - kind of outdoorsy and I haven't gotten a chance to check the waterproof part yet - but will provide another review after I've been wearing these a while. Chippewa even put a paper in the shoe box about them re-building the shoe for me when the time comes - that's fantastic! I love these shoes and I think that the fit is true to size. PLEASE keep making this shoe in this size!!
