Loafers should fit snug so they don't wear out my socks. These are sloppy fit but comfortable. They are looser than my other 2 pair of Ecco brand that were the same size but were lace up.

Update: after wearing for a few months they are my favorite shoes. Great for being on my feet all day standing on concrete.
