I was not a big of a fan of the appearance when I tried these, but after trying on probably 20 different shoes (brooks, asics, saucony, mizuno, etc.), this shoe-- I just couldn't get over it! Support in all the right places, no drastic drop, and oh so wonderful for trails and rocky terrain (wonderful traction). I did find it's not nearly as good on pavement--but any dirt or trail was suburb comfort. Would recommend to those who love to trail run.
